What Kiri provides
Kiri organises cosmetic product labels and compares ingredient functions with the haircare or skincare goals you choose. Results are educational guidance. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise that a product will work for you.
Your decisions
Check the ingredient list on the product sold where you live, follow its directions, patch test when appropriate, and stop using a product if it causes a reaction. Ask a qualified clinician or pharmacist about health concerns, allergies, pregnancy, medicines, or treatment.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep access to your email account secure and give us accurate information. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another person's data, overload it, reverse engineer protected parts, or submit unlawful or harmful content. You may delete your account from the account page.
Product data and outside links
Product records can be incomplete, outdated, or different between countries. Shopping links open labelled searches or approved retailer pages and do not confirm price, stock, shipping, authenticity, or local regulatory status. Kiri may earn a commission from marked affiliate links. Commission does not change your match scores or recommendation order. Partner images are displayed under separate permissions; this does not grant permission to copy or reuse them.
Product contributions
Product contributions must show cosmetic packaging and accurate label information. Only submit photos you took and have the right to share, without people, personal details, abusive or unrelated content. By accepting the contribution switch you license the facts under ODbL 1.0 and the photos under CC BY-SA 4.0, credited to Kiri community contributor. Public licences permit reuse; removing a submission cannot revoke copies already distributed. Kiri reviews submissions before publishing and may reject or hide records and block abusive contributors. Report problems through a product's source details or contact support.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain or improve the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. If these terms change materially, we will update the date and provide notice where appropriate.
Intellectual property
Kiri's interface, writing, and original software are protected by applicable law. Open Beauty Facts product data remains available under its stated ODbL terms, and its images under their stated licences.
Liability and governing law
To the extent the law permits, Kiri is provided as available and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on product data or third-party services. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in force. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
